Please note that course fees can vary widely and should always be researched with the relevant institution. Your living costs will vary according to factors such as your lifestyle and location.

As an international student looking to Study in Australia, you must plan your total cost of study beforehand. Budgeting for cost is an important part of planning for university life. This would give you a clear vision about how much you are going to spend actually.

3.1 Cost of Tuition Fees in Australia 

Following is a approximate estimate of actual expenses that you will incur considering that you budgeting your expenses and not overspending. Whereas remember you would be required to show and prove money according to Australia Boder Agency regulation not the following. But still this estimate would help you identify how much you actually going to spend.

It is very important for you to work in foreign countries as this early experience and fight for survival builds that competitive spirit in you which later reflects on your personality. As an international student it is very important for you to know how can you manage such expensive studying and living. 

• During Course: Students are allowed to work on part-time basis during their course upto 20hrs a week (40hrs fortnightly i.e. 2 weeks). As per current wages structure you can start earning anything between 12-15 AUD per hour. If we consider the lowest 12 AUD per hour you would earn approximately AUD 960 per month (in Indian Currency it amounts to INR 46,000). This earning would help your family to accommodate high living cost of Autralia during studies. 
• After Course: If you completed a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree, you may be eligible for the Post-Study Work stream of of the Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa. The PSW (Post-Study Work) may vary from 2 to 3 upto of 4 Years according to your level of course studied. Average Starting Expected Salary for Freshers is approximately AUD 55,000 per annum (i.e. nearly 26 lakhs approximately 2 lakhs per month). 

5. Admission Intake 

Australia generally has two intakes i.e. February and July, with few Universities offering multiple intakes in September & November. It is suggested that you should start making applications ideally 7-8 months prior to the intake. University generally takes around 4-6 weeks to process the applications.

6. Basic Eligibility Requirement to Study in Australia 

Following is the basic eligibility requirement to be fulfilled by students for admission: 

6.1 Undergraduate: Bachelors Courses

• A good academic record in High School Certificate or 12 years of schooling
• Some courses such as Computing and Engineering will require Mathematics and /or Science as pre-requisites
• Minimum IELTS score required is overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 bands

​6.2 Postgraduate: Master's Courses

• A good academic record in Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university is necessary
• Any work experience in the field will be helpful
• For MBA programs at some Universities students need to have work experience along with their Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum IELTS score required is overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 bands

7. Documents Required for Admission Assesment 

Following is a list of documents required for admission assessment for Australia:

• Attested copies of 10^th and 12^th mark sheet and completion certificate
• Bachelor Degree Mark Sheets including Backlogs (Re-sits) (If Applicable)
• Evidence of English Language proficiency e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
• Standardized Tests e.g. GMAT, GRE (where necessary for the course)
• Two academic references
• Two references from employers (where applicable)
• Passport sized photographs
