4. Living Cost in Malaysia

5. Work Opportunities in Malaysia
- During Course: International students are allowed to work part-time basis during semester breaks, festive holidays or more than seven days of holiday for a maximum of 20 hours a week. International students are permitted to work in restaurants, petrol kiosks, mini markets and hotels except in the following positions: cashier, singer, masseur, musician, Guest Relations Officer or any activity deemed to be immoral.
- After Course: After completion of studies in Malaysia, uou do not apply for the work permit yourself. Your prospective employer applies it on your behalf. You just wait for the "landing order" from the Immigration Department of Malaysia which will be forwarded to you by your employer. The actual cost should be less than US$500.00 [visa fee, levy, work permit fee & processing charges, medical screening depending on circumstances, and is paid for by your employer.
6. Documents Required for Admission Assessment
Following is a list of documents required for admission assessment for Malaysia:
- Attested copies of 10th and 12th mark sheet and completion certificate
- Bachelor Degree Mark Sheets including Backlogs (Re-sits) (If Applicable)
- Evidence of English Language proficiency e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, etc. (NOT REQUIRED IN MALAYSIA)
- Standardized Tests e.g. GMAT, GRE (NOT REQUIRED IN MALAYSIA)
- Two academic references letters
- Two references from employers (where applicable)
- Passport sized photographs
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Draft for application fees, if applicable
- Portfolio (for Art, Design & Architecture program)
- Other Certificates & Achievements of Extracurricular Activities
